Bali & Raja Ampat, Indonesia – Oct. 2010

It took over 29 hrs total FLIGHT time to get to the Raja Ampat islands in East Indonesia from the East coast of the US. We came here to see Bali and things underwater that we have not seen before, since we heard it is the most biodiverse marine life area in the world. Although we think the hype about this area is overblown, we did see some things we have not seen before (beautiful soft corals), so mission was accomplished aboard the beautiful Paradise Dancer, a 188’ three-masted motor schooner that accommodated 18 divers in air conditioned comfort. Great boat and crew! Bali was what you might imagine paradise to be. Its also where we tried the most expensive coffee in the world…Kopi Luwak.
