Flying the MIG-29

When Bob was a young lad, his dad bought him an introductory flight lesson … and he was hooked for life. Bob holds numerous aviation licenses — including Flight Instructor, Flight Engineer-Turbojet, Air Transport Pilot — and is type-rated to fly the Boeing 737. He spent his career working in aviation, from airline pilot to executive. He has always considered flying a fighter jet as his “Everest” — his ultimate adventure. He got that opportunity in 2015 when he traveled to Russia (at the ripe age of 70) to take control of and fly a MIG-29 — and also do aerobatics.
