French Polynesia – yacht sail

We visited French Polynesia in 1999 and enjoyed it so much that we came back, in June 2017 … but this time, we were on a 48′ sailing catamaran. Bob was captain of our bareboat yacht “Leo” and the rest of us were crew; we were with dear friends Drs. Bob & Joy and their three adult children. We sailed to the islands of Bora Bora, Raiatea, Huahine, and Taha’a. The crystal clear blue waters (we went scuba diving in Bora Bora and Huahine), delightful sealife, dramatic landscapes, delicious seafood — all were terrific. Fortunately, the islands seemed just as lovely as we remembered them. (Check out more sailing adventures.)
