Ancient history, gorgeous blue seas, active volcanoes, terrific food — what’s not to like? We spent a glorious two weeks sailing the Tyrrhenian Sea visiting six of the Aeolian Islands of Sicily on our 50′ Beneteau sailboat, which we rented ‘bareboat’ (Bob the captain, and the five of us the crew). Since we loved it so much, there was no thoughts of mutiny! Diana got a kick out of visiting “her” ancient Temple of Diana on Sicily, and Bob got a kick out of climbing an ancient inactive volcano on Vulcano Island for starters. … take a look at Bob’s video below of this exciting adventure!
